Owner/Instructor -Shannon Thompson has embraced everything
about horses since childhood. The love of the equine family has
come easily being passed down from generation to generation.
Creating "Peace of Heaven Farm" in Jefferson, Georgia with the encouragement and support of her husband and family has
always been a dream for Shannon.
Previously, Shannon owned and operated Loven Ponies and Pony Click
out of Woodstock, GA before moving her business to the quietness
of Jackson County in 2010.

A Little "Peace of Heaven Farm"
​
Shannon has over 30 years of experience training children and ponies for show and pleasure.
The ponies at Peace of Heaven Farm have been hand-selected from all over the United States
for their patience, kindness, and gentleness while teaching children to ride.
Training ponies is a passion that Shannon has had since she was a small child. Growing up on
a pony farm in Illinois has given Shannon the knowledge needed to understand how ponies
think and the ability to train them the way they need to be trained.
Growing up as a riding instructor's daughter Shannon has been showing ponies/horses in all
disciplines her entire life. She has competed herself with much success at Pony Club champion-
ships, 4-H State and Regionals, 3-day eventing, Quarter horse Congress, Palomino Worlds,
Morgan Regionals, Shetland Congress, Welsh shows, POA competitions, and the list goes on.
After showing many breeds in multiple disciplines she is now focusing on the training of children
and ponies.
